Cook, known as The ORACLE, established ORACLE Publishing in the early part of 2008 when she decided to publish her second book of positive, motivational, inspirational poetry, prose and song. Her goal for becoming a registered publisher was to open the door to others who had much to say and few options for how to say it to the world. Her motto, 'Paint a picture you can see, hear, feel, smell and taste, all in a word....' demonstrates her commitment to sharing the word in any way, form, fashion or manner possible. To her credit are two books, two CD's and featured vocal contributions on at least five other CD's for well known local Los Angeles area artists. She also possesses degrees in Dance, Fine Arts and Education. Ms. Cook is well known as a philanthropist for her unending volunteerism at Hollywood High Performing Arts Center, and is a Board Member and Director of Publicity and Public Affairs for Performing Arts For Life Education Foundation (PALEF), a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to bringing the arts to the inner city and under-served youth of Los Angeles, CA. The ORACLE likes to say she shares something in common with President Barack Obama in that she is of mixed race, African American and German Jew (Greenberg), and her varied life experiences enables her to speak to the universal causes of life.
